It started with a friendship

Our collective began when one of our founders realized that an advent-style gift box could be a vehicle of support for a friend who was going through a  rough  time.   The box was such a success that a group gathered to bring this tool of encouragement to a wider community.  The Ad Gaudium Collective was born! 

“Ad Gaudium” means “To Joy!”

For our Journey to Joy Boxes, we curate gifts from small, US-based artisans, and pair them with inspiring messages that speak from the heart.  Our hope is that these boxes foster connection and spread encouragement through the whole chain of people touched by them.
